Bonfire Night Spirit Hits The Wye Inn Hereford
The staff at The Wye Inn have really captured the spirit of Bonfire Night & Halloween this week.
In particular, the kitchen staff can’t control their excitement and creativity! Even on their breaks they have been getting involved by making their own Guy Fawkes.
2nd Chef Peter Baugh and Chef Jay Barratt spent their lunch break on Monday carefully constructing their Chef-Guy! And doesn’t he look great! Well done both!
Understandably, both are very proud of their Guy – however, luckily their cooking ability is still far better than their artistic skill!
Although their Guy cannot be entered into Sunday night’s competition, there is still plenty of time for the kids to have a go. The competition is open for 5-11 year olds and they will be judged on Sunday evening with prizes for the best ones!
The evening starts at 6pm Sunday however we won’t be taking food orders after 4pm. Entry is free! There will be an outdoor bar and hot dogs, burgers and pork baps on sale as well as the fairground rides for the kids! It is going to be a fantastic, fun-filled evening for all!
Just a reminder that The Wye Inn’s main car park will be closed however Full House have very kindly agreed to open their car park all day for the Pub use.
See you all Sunday night!
